Vivek Ragavan - CEO
As president and CEO, Ragavan, was instrumental in the growth of telecommunications startup, Siara Systems, and its highly successful sale to Redback Networks, for $4.3 billion in 1999. Subsequent to the acquisition of Siara Systems, Ragavan became CEO of Redback. Under Ragavan's leadership, Redback was named by Forbes magazine as one of the top 20 best managed, fastest-growing technology companies in the world.
Ragavan was also CEO at several other networking and software companies, including Atrica, which was purchased by Nokia Siemens Networks in 2008. Earlier in his career, Ragavan held senior management positions at ADC, General Instrument, and Comsat. Ragavan holds a BSEE from Northwestern University and an MSEE from Cornell University.
With his deep experience in building strategic products and growing businesses in the networking industry, Ragavan is well poised to lead Albeado in building unique AI/ML solutions in the Next Generation Networking space, including 5G Mobile networks, next generation data centers, SDN/NFV network deployments, and in the Manufacturing space by solving important problems such as Inventory optimization, demand and supply chain lead time predictions and yield improvement.
Partha Datta Ray - Founder & CTO
Partha started his carrier at AT&T Bell Laboratories developing AI systems and learning techniques for predicting performance of large scale data network systems and optimizing their operations. He founded Albeado in 2010 with the goal of making predictive analytics deliver high accuracy and become more actionable through systems and tools offering logical explanations needed by business to trust and effectively use them.
He has been a Chip Designer and EDA Software professional in the past and currently leads the R&D group at Albeado as Principal Investigator (PI) of projects from agencies like NSF. He brings more than 30 years of experience in software and hardware systems business as senior executive of three successful startups and of large organizations such as AT&T Bell Laboratories, Silicon Compilers (An EDA startup acquired by Mentor Graphics Corporation), Telerate (An online Trading Software company acquired by Dow Jones), TeraBlaze (An Internet Semiconductor company acquired by Agere).
He has multiple patents in areas of Connected Risk analysis and Decision Systems, Systemic Cyber Security, Semiconductor Circuit Design Automation and Network Analysis and numerous publications in IEEE and other peer reviewed journals. He has chaired various technical committees, lead business advocacy campaigns and has been invited keynote speaker at trade conferences.
Partha holds a BSEE and MSCS from Rutgers and has conducted advanced industrial research work at leading institutes.
Anand Shirur - CRO
Anand Shirur brings more than 20 plus years of proven achievements in Instrumentations, Biotechnology & Life Science, Pharmaceutical, Med-tech & Software industries with world's leading companies like Thermo Fisher Scientific, Varian and Convatec and has demonstrated consistent track record of leading sustained revenue and EBIDTA growth with extensive business background in International and multicultural environments.
He is a growth business leader and turnaround specialist with several assignments building successful teams, achieving sustained success, achieving revenue, profits and business growth objectives within start-up, turnaround and hyper-growth businesses. Extensive experience with highly engineered systems, which require deep understanding of critical business drivers across multiple markets and industries. Consistent successful track record in building relationships with executive level decision makers, diagnosing & turning around critical problem areas and delivering on customer commitments. Customer focused and performance driven. Built highly motivated teams globally including over 500 employees and managed P&L for business divisions exceeding $300M revenue.
Prior to joining Albeado, Anand served as the CEO for Plexision and Chairman and Managing Director of Convatec India and China operations. Before Convatec he worked for Thermo Fisher Scientific and Varian Inc., and held various leadership positions for US and International businesses. Anand began his career in India with Tata Industries as a sales engineer. Anand also serves on the Board of 24/7 Lifeline Hospitals in India.
Razvan Bohatel - Chief Software Architect
Over the last 15 year Razvan has led multiple teams providing integration and development services as well as customer engineering for companies like Intellisync, Nokia and Microsoft. Much of this time was focused on the development and integration of complex and highly scalable data management and coherence solutions including heterogeneous database synchronization solutions.
Razvan earned his MSc in Computer Science from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca, Romania.
Rakshit Mehta - VP, Product Management
Rakshit Mehta is a customer driven executive with over 17 years of experience in Networking Hardware and Software industry. Rakshit joins us from Juniper Networks where he was the Director of Business Development focusing on new business opportunities with large Telcos and Enterprises in Routing, Switching and Network Security solutions. Prior to that, he held various technical and business management roles at Cisco, Nokia and Atrica Inc., a Metro Ethernet start-up acquired by erstwhile Nokia Siemens Networks in 2008.
Rakshit holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from University of Mumbai and an MBA from University of Michigan's Ross School of Business. He has lived and worked in India, Singapore, Japan and the United States.
